Myeik, June 22
Two drugs traffickers were arrested together with narcotic tablets worth K 1000 million and two motorbikes in the town of Myeik, Taninthayi region yesterday evening, according to Myeik District Myanmar Police Force.
Upon information received, Police Inspector Aung Naing Oo and members from Anti-Crime Squad together witnesses intercepted and searched a motorbike driven by a man named as Than Htike. The search yielded up 10,000 stimulant tablets from him.
According to information squeezed out of him, the authorities continued to search the house of Than Htike and confiscated 190,000 stimulant tablets.—Khaing Htoo (IPRD)
