DRD conducts motorbike repair course in border town

The motorbike repair course, conducted by the Department of Rural Development (DRD) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, was opened at a village hall in Namtmon Village, Mese Town in Kayah State yesterday.

 

At the opening of the course, Deputy Township Administrator U Aung Aye Khant delivered an address and an official from the DRD explained the purpose of the course. According to him, the DRD has been conducting vocational training courses with the aim of creating job opportunities for rural people and increasing their family income.

 

The 15-day course is being attended by 20 trainees in the township.—Wutyi (IPRD)
