Developmental works are being undertaken with funds of VDP in 21 villages in Wuntho Township, Kawlin District, Sagaing Region. Now, the developmental works have been completed by 85 percent, according to an official from Wuntho Township Department of Rural Development.
Developmental works such as construction of rural road and bridge, water supply project, power line installation, and construction of school building are being implemented with K 10 million each funded by the VDP and public contribution.
The Township Department of Rural Development implemented 99 developmental works in 45 villages in 2017-2018 FY and 49 works in 29 villages in 2018-2019 FY. Now, a total of 169 projects have been implemented with funds of VDP in 95 villages in the township.
