An inspection team led by Chin State Social Minister U Pau Lun Min Thang oversaw the construction site of Sports and Physical Science Institution (Hakha) in Hakha, Chin State on 27 May.
First, an official from the Chin State Sports and Physical Education Department clarified the process of construction. Then, the State Minister and officials inspected the construction and urged the responsible people to meet the designated with the deadline and to follow the instruction guided by the Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19.
In the Sports and Physical Science Institution (Hakha), the two school buildings, two gymnasiums, archery training center, dining area and staff housing are being constructed. Now, it has been completed by 70 percent of the project.
It is the first institution in Chin State and it is being constructed on 56.94 acres of land. The project will be completed in September and 60 male trainees and 60 female trainees from Townships in Chin State will be selected starting from 1 June 2021, according to an official from the State Department.
