With the aim saving time and money, the Township Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department under Ministry of Border Affairs is implementing a rural road linking Yarphu-Thechaung villages in Yebyu Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region, and now, all the projects were completed by 100 percent.

The gravel type road measuring five miles in length and five box culverts measuring five ft. long on the road were constructed with Ks. 244.6 million of the Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department funds allocated in 2022-2023 FY.

Now, the road and box culverts were completed 100%, and it will benefit 3130 local people from 671 households in eight villages in the Township, according to an official from the Township Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department. —MNA
