With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and boosting the socio-economic status of rural people, the construction works of rural road have been implemented since the third week of June this year in Sintat Village in Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region and all the projects have been completed 70 percent so far. Personnel from the Township Department of Rural Development paid the inspection tour this morning.

 

A rural road which is one mile and three furlongs in length and 12 ft. in width and nine inches in volume is being constructed by a tender winning Company with Ks. 42.65 million allotted by regional government for 2023-2024 FY.

 

During the inspection tour, officials met with members of Construction Company and instructed to meet the construction deadlines. Once completed, it will benefit 2351 acres of farmland of rural people in the village and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Maung Khine
