Collecting parking fee to be ceased in Mann Shwe Settaw Pagoda Festival

The collecting parking fee in Mann Shwe Settaw Pagoda festival will be halted starting this year, according the pagoda board of trustees.

 

Arrangements have been made to open one-way road for reduction of traffic congestion and there is no plan to invite tender for two bus-stops, said regional minister for security and border affairs Colonel Min Oo in an interview with media.

 

Vehicles from Lower Settawyar to special bridge will be allowed to return as their first track however, vehicles at upper location like Namada will take the bypass at the back of the festival. Parking fees will not be collected however; arrangement is being made to maintain the vehicles, said chairman of the pagoda board of trustees U Than Tun. Steps have been taken to end the rise of hostel fees, according the officials.
