Ayeyawady United’s right-back wants a spot in national football squad

Nay Pyi Taw, 1 January

Former Myanmar international defender Kyaw Zin Lwin revealed that he will try his best to grab a spot in the national football squad again.

Kyaw Zin Lwin moved to the MNL club Ayeyawady United from Magway FC together with teammate goalkeeper Kyaw Zin Phyo ahead of this football season. “I was omitted to represent the Myanmar national team in recent years due to my weakness. But I firmly believe that I can showcase my ability at the new club. I will be given a chance to play for the national football squad,” he added.

The 25-year old right-back emerged from Magway FC’s youth programme. Commenting on his union to Ayeyawady United, he said, “Everything is OK here. All teammates and coaching staff welcomed me warmly. I will try my best to achieve success with the new club.” The player continued that he has an ambition to play abroad in the future.
