THE second meeting of Anti-Money Laundering Central Board in 2019 was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Kyaw Swe, as the chairman of AMLCB, delivered an opening remark at the meeting.
Its Joint Secretary Police Brig-Gen Kyaw Win Thein, as the Head of Anti-Financial Crime Division (AFCD) discussed the accomplishment on resolutions in the first meeting of AMLCB, investigations into crimes related with the Anti-Money Laundering Law (AMLL) and property confiscation in 2019, list of priority in practicing technical standards and immediate results at relevant departments and plans for fighting against money laundering and preventing criminals and terrorists from raising and moving funds in line with the standards of Financial Action Task Force (FATF), according toe the Myanmar Police Force.
