670 migrant workers come back home from Thailand via Myawady border on 11 June

A total of 670 migrant workers returned home through the Myanmar-Thai Friendship Bridge (2) of Myawady border town in Kayin State yesterday.


They came back home on their own schedules with the approval of Myanmar Embassy in the Kingdom. 


Kayin State Hluttaw MP U Thant Zin Aung, District Administrative Department Officer U Tay Zar Aung, local officials helped the returnees with medical tests and other supplies. 


A total of 25,304 Myanmar migrants have arrived back home through this route from 1 May to date.


The latest group of returnees included 425 males and 245 females from different regions and states.
