A total of 37 logs were seized in Tamu Township, Sagaing region yesterday evening.
Upon information received, a combined team comprised of staff from the towship Forest Department and policemen together with witnesses searched a forest about five miles southeast of Kung Taung vlillage.
The search yielded up a six-wheeled truck loaded with 37 illegal logs weighing 5.07 tons.—Kyaw Thra (IPRD)
