194 returnees under 21-day quarantine in border town

57 people who returned to Myanmar from China through a border checkpoint were kept in 21-day quarantine at a community hall after receiving medical check-ups on 19 April.

The chairman of township-level COVID-19 control and prevention committee Township Administrator U Thet Oo Paing together with Township Medical Superintendent Dr. Thiha and an official from the Information and Public Relations Department visited the returnees and urged them to follow the disciplines set by the committee.

Three quarantine centers have been set up in Chinshwehaw Town to host the returnees who came back from China. A total of 194 people are being placed in 21-day quarantine at three temporary centers.—Zin Zin (IPRD)
