Myanmar migrant workers return their homes via Kawthoung Border Gate

A total of 42 Myanmar migrant workers were repatriated by officials from Thai Immigration Department via Kawthoung Border Gate yesterday.

Officials from Kawthoung Township Health Department and departmental personnel conducted a thermal screening on those who return from Thailand to prevent and control the spread of coronavirus.

Officials from Kawthoung District and Township General Administration Department, Immigration and Population Department, Anti-Trafficking Police Force, Department of Labor and Department of Disaster Management checked whether they were infected with the virus. It was found that no one has the coronavirus. They then distributed masks and health care services to the returnees. Next, the officials helped them to return their homes safely.
