ChaungU, 28 September

Officials from the Department of Rural Development made a field trip to Magyeekhwa Village to inspect construction of a rural road on September 27.

The rural road is of an earthen type and measures 2.2 mile in length. It is being built by a private construction company at a cost of K 59.97 million funded by the local government in the current fiscal year.  Once completed, it will benefit over 840 acres of farmland belonging to the farmers.

In addition, local farmers will be able to use the rural road in all seasons and transport their products to other areas in a rapid manner.
