Torrential downpours hit Dawei Township, Taninthayi Region and it caused flooding starting from this morning. Some roads in the town of Dawei are experiencing deluge of water and Dawei-Myeik route was inundated by flood.
In addition, Kyaukyat-Pauktine rural road was also inundated by flood and 40 houses in low-lying area in Kayinmagone village were also inundated by flood. Therefore, military personnel, deaprtemtal personnel, social organizations and local residents helped the flood victims to displace to safer places.
