CIC Co., Ltd donated medical equipment to be used in combating the COVID-19 pandemic was held at the local government office in Bago City on October 20.
Seven coronavirus positive patients have been discharged from the hospital and eight more people tested positive for Covid-19 in Gyobingauk Township, Bago Region during the period from 16 to 20 October, according to a health official.
With the aim of raising health awareness and preventing infectious disease, health awareness campaign and vaccination campaign were conducted in Htimoekhee village in the town of Shanywathit, Hpa-an District, Kayin State.
The trucks are allowed to use Yangon-Mandalay expressway temporarily from 5 October to 30 November to enable smooth flow of cargos in states and regions. The tucks, which will use Yangon-Mandalay highway, are allowed to cross after paying as per the type of vehicle and tonnes as prescribed by the Ministry of Construction.
Rakhine State Electric Power, Industry and Transport Minister U Aung Kyaw Zan and State Social Affairs Minister Dr Chan Thar encouraged the truck drivers and helpers who are undergoing the Covid test through the use of the antigen test kits to receive virus clearance certificates to be able to go to the regions and states from Sittway town.
