Slight earthquake strikes Magway Region’s Sedoktaya Township

No immediate reports of damages or casualties were available following a slight earthquake which was recorded at 5:52 p.m. yesterday, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology announced.  

 

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter Scale, with its epicenter inside Myanmar jolted about 18 miles north-northwest of Sedoktaya Township, Magway Region, at a latitude 20.29°N, and longitude 94.00°E, with depth 23 kilometers and about 81 miles southwest of NyaungU seismological observatory, the DMH said.—MDN
