Slight earthquake jolts Minkin Township

No immediate reports of damages or casualties were reported following a slight earthquake which was recorded this morning, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) announced.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter inside Myanmar hit about four miles west of Minkin Township in Sagaing Region. It was recorded at 4:14 a.m. today at a latitude of 22.88°N, and longitude of 94.44°E, with a depth of 47 kilometers and about 56 miles northeast of the Haka seismological observatory, said the DMH.—DMH
