A new school for kindergarten is being built in Melthamue Village, Shan Ywathi Town in Hpa-an District in Kayin State, according to a village clerk.
The facility is under construction with nearly Ks. 9 million in which Ks. 4.9 million was funded by the Department of Rural Development in the fiscal year 20192020 while Ks. 4 million was contributed by local people.
The structure is built with the aim of uplifting the socioeconomic status of rural people and improving the capability of future generation students.—Wai Lu (IPRD)
