A ceremony to open a new library constructed with contribution of local people in Lintsingone village, Madaya Township, Pyin Oo Lwin District, Mandalay Region was held in front of the building this morning.
First, officials from the Regional Information and Public Relations Department, Township Management Department, Township General Administration Department, Village-tract Administrator and Chairman of Library Committee formally cut the ceremonial ribbon.
Next, an official from the IPRD and donors provided books and publications to the library. Then, the donor for location of the library and those who participated in the construction of the library were presented certificate of honor.
The library was constructed with K 4.5 million contributed by the local people.
