VETERAN players of Myanmar National Football Team contributed K1 million to the Ayeyarwady Centre yesterday, announced by Myanmar National League on social media. Ayeyarwady Centre, built by Ayeyarwady Foundation in the Thuwunna Football Stadium in early September, is giving treatments to COVID-19 patients.
The Centre has set up a temporary facility for a total of 875 patients, and its ICU/HDU, with the installation of modern medical equipment, can hold 125 patients.
The Centre expressed its gratitude to the donor footballers for their contribution .—Kyaw Khin
