Myanmar seafarers returning from Malaysia placed under 21-day quarantine in Kawthoung

Seven Myanmar seafarers from a ship docked at a jetty in the Andaman Sea near Kawthoung Township, Taninthayi Region entered downtown Kawthoung and were reportedly quarantined at a hotel for 21 days.
    

They transferred duty with seven other Myanmar seafarers who waited for them in Kawthoung in advance. The cargo ship arrived at an island near Kawthoung in the Andaman Sea yesterday evening after departing from Malaysia.
    

Myanmar seafarers get medical checked by a combined team and their samples were taken by medical staff for coronavirus test and would be sent to Yangon National Lab.
