The winning goal for Mawyawady FC was scored by foreign player Abass in the second half. Both teams played energetically from the kick-off, in a bid to score the opening goal.Though scoring opportunities were created by both sides’ strikers, they could not convert the chances to goals and ended the first half with a scoreless draw.

The second half saw a bit change of match strategies and Mawyawady’s players were more active as they sought their equalizers.

Mawyawady’s systematic attack frequently rankled the Silver Star’s defence line in the second half.

Taking advantage of errors by the Silver Stars’ defence line, the single and winning goal was scored by Mawyawady striker Abass at 66 minute.

After 1-0, Mawyawady changed to the defense style, making it difficult for the opponent to attack.
Mawyawady could defend their winning result until the final minute to earn a full point.

The win has built the confidence of Mawyawady in dreaming for their upcoming season in the Myanmar National League II.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
