Myanmar to compete Asian Cup Qualifiers next year

Myanmar national football teams and junior football teams will compete in the five Asian Cup qualifiers which are scheduled to hold in 2021, according to the football authorities.


Myanmar men’s national football team will play in the remaining matches of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers and 2023 Asian Cup Second Round Qualifiers and women’s national team will play in the Asian Cup Women’s Football Championship Qualifiers.


Next, The U-23 men’s national football team will participate in the AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers, and U-20 women’s team will join the Asian Cup U-20 Women’s Qualifiers.


In the meantime, U-17 women’s team will also compete in the AFC U-17 Women’s Championship Qualifiers.


The remaining matches of the 2022 World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup Second Round are scheduled to hold in March and June 2021.


The first round of the Asian Cup U-20 Women’s Championship Qualifiers will be held from 13 to 21 March.


The second phase of the qualifiers is also planned to hold in August 2021.


The first rounds of the Asian Cup U-17 Women’s Championship Qualifiers are scheduled to hold in April 2021 and the second phase will be held in September 2021. The AFC authorities will reconfirm the fixtures of the tourneys, depending on the COVID-19 condition, according to the AFC.
