No casualties were reported in a house fire in Letpadan Township, Bago Region, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported on Monday.
The fire broke out at a two-storey house of a man named U Win Kyaing from Minyat Ward in Letpadan Township, Bago Region at about 10:20 a.m. on September 24. The fire, which is believed to have been started by an overheated plug, was extinguished by firefighters with the use of four fire engines 30 minutes later.
The fire engulfed one home and action has been taken against the home owner over fire negligence by the police.
