Fire broke out in a two-story house of U Nwe Awn Yun in Pasat Village, Mong Yawng Township, Shan State (East) this morning.
The fire was thought to have started from a lighted mosquito coil left in the house of U Nwe Awn Yun in the village.
Firemen from the Township Fire Services Department rushed to the scene to fight the fire in cooperation with local policemen and locals, and the blaze was successfully extinguished.
Fire totally destroyed the house of U Nwe Awn Yun. But no casualties were reported. Authorities filed a case against U Nwe Awn Yun for his negligence.
