Hinthada, 13 February
A multiplier course on enhancing capacity of the polling station offifers kicked off at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Hinthada, Ayeyawady Region this morning.
On the occasion, Chairperson of the district election sub-commission U Win Maung gave an opening speech and an official from the township election sub-commission briefed matters relating to the course. Next, officials from the General Administration Department, the Immigration and Population Department and the Union Election Commission gave training on taking census and compiling voters’ list.
The two-day training course is being attended by ward/village administrators, volunteers and departmental staff totaling about 49.—Ko Zaw (Hinthada)
