A combined team from Maingkaing Police outpost raided the house of Maung Kha in Nantaw Village, Homalin Township, Sagaing Region yesterday morning, and arrested two men, identified as Min Thu and Yan Naing Aung along with heroin weighing 0.731 Kilo, according to the information released by the Myanmar Police Force.
In a similar incident, police members from Anti-Drug Squad intercepted a motorcycle driven by Kya Ka with Ma Nan Lu on board on Kyuntaw Road in Pasat Ward in Tachilek, Shan State yesterday evening and seized 10000 stimulant tablets and a mobile phone from them.
The authorities filed charges against the two under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
