Disinfection work was carried out in staff housing in Madalay University and other crowded areas in Mahaaungmyay Township, Mandalay yesterday.
The activity was led by responsible ward administrator and members of Township Red Cross Society starting from 9 am to 3 pm.
With the aim of preventing and controlling the spread of coronavirus, the township departmental personnel are undertaking disinfection work and health awareness campaign.
