29 July

He posed on Facebook: “I swear our phones are listening to us. There was something on the news about researchers needing the blood of those who tested positive for COVID-19 and are now negative.” “And a local blood bank advertisement came up on social media...so here I am sitting, donating my plasma. Well I have great news, we are now that much closer to finding the coronavirus cure with the Python blood. Happy Monday!” he wrote on his social media on Tuesday.

The plasma, the liquid portion of the blood, contains coronavirus antibodies. Antibodies are proteins made by the immune system which can target the virus and neutralize it, according to a health paper.
