14 people hurt in multiple traffic accident in Mongpyin

Approximately 14 people were slightly injured in a multiple traffic accident in Mongpyin Township, Eastern Shan State on 24 March.

A 12-wheeled truck bound for Taunggyi from Mongpyin driven by a man named Aung Myo Khaing, 42, from Mandalay rear ended a passenger hi-ace due to faculty braking system on a mountain slope, triggering the multiple traffic accident. At least 14 people were hurt in the accident and they were sent to a public hospital and are now receiving medical treatment.
