A ceremony to inaugurate a rural road that links Nyaunggone village with Bumidraya village in Nyaunggone village-tract in Pyin Oo Lwin District, Mandalay Region was held yesterday.
MPs U Maung Maung Aye and U Min Min of Regional Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Aung Kyaw Naing and officials formally cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the rural road. The cost of the rural road was provided by well-wisher U Tun Yin (MDR-5 Star) and he handed over the proper documents relating to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
The rural road which is 1200 ft in length and 25 ft in width was constructed with K 117 million. The rural road will bring safe and convenient transportation to the local residents at all seasons.
