A ceremony to hand over rural health clinic was held at the clinic on Hopin-Indawgyi Road in Nonechyo village in Hopin, Mohnyin District, Kachin State this morning.
At the ceremony, Mohnyin Township Administrator U Ye Aung gave opening remarks and donor Daw Khin Hnaung clarified the purpose of the donation. U Maung Ko, one of community leaders, expressed words of thanks.
The plot of land for the clinic is worth K 8 million and the cost of the construction is over K 10 million. The clinic was donated by U Thaung Kyi and wife Daw Ma Htay and U Maung Win and wife Daw Khin Hnaing. The donor families handed over proper documents related to the building to rural health clinic maintenance committee.
