A ceremony to inaugurate a new school building to mark the 76th Anniversary of Independence Day to the public was held at the sub-BEHS in Aung Village in Sidoktaya Township of Magway Region this morning.
Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Hein Htet Aung and member-1 of the Township Administration Body Major Thein Min Zin, the Township Police Chief Win Ko Ko, the Township Education officer U Than Myaing and the village Administrator U Chit San Maung cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the new school facility.
At the event, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Hein Htet Aung delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, the Township Education officer U Than Myaing discussed matters relating to the construction works of new school buildings in the Township. Afterwards, in-charge person of the Chin Ethnic Construction Company U Zaw Min Tun handed over documents related to school facility to the Township Education officer U Than Myaing. Next, Daw Nan Tin, head of the sub-school read out the history of the school and a member of school development committee spoke words of thanks, and students from the school sang school songs.
The school building measuring 90 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width was constructed with K 99.7 million allocated by the regional government for 2023-2024 FY.—Win Ei Mon (IPRD)
