Under the leadership of the township committee for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment, measures have been stepped up to fight against the virus in Mong Hsat Township, Shan State (East).

Volunteers for departmental offices in Mong Hsat Township distributed face masks and face shields to local people free of charge in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about the danger of COVID-19 pandemic at Myoma market and temporary markets in the town of Mong Hsat this morning.    

Members of the township committee for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment jointly handed out 1500 pieces of facial masks and 100 pieces of face shields to local people at markets in the town, and shared knowledge about the danger of COVID-19 pandemic.

Also present of the occasion were the township Administrator, officials from the township Department of Health, Information and Public Relations Department, Myoma Police Station, No. 122 traffic police force, Development Committee, Department of Social Welfare and Fire Services Department.
