Pakokku, 17 June

A ceremony to open English proficiency course and computer course for staff of Pakokku University were held at the convocation hall of Pakokku University, Pakokku Township, Magway Region yesterday afternoon.

At the event, rector of the University clarified the purpose of the training course and explained the disciplines to be followed by trainees. Afterwards, course instructors introduced the subject to be taught in the training course. Afterwards, officials cordially greeted course instructors and the trainees and gave words of encouragement to them.

The one-month English proficiency course which runs from June 16 to  August 15  is being attended by 63 trainees and the one-month computer course which runs from June 16 to August 15 is being attended by 44 trainees.—U Ki Lin Pe (IPRD)
