Construction of a concrete road will be carried out in Kankaung Village in Kayan Township, Yangon Region, according to the Township Department of Rural Development.

The concrete road which is 1100 ft. long and 20 ft. wide will be constructed by the Township Department of Rural Development with Ks. 1.5 million of VDP funds in 2023-2024 fiscal year and contribution of well-wishers.

Personnel led by staff officer of the Township DRD Daw Hta Hta Naing, village administrator and community leaders paid a field trip on May 18 at 1:00 pm  and inspected the area where the work will be implemented.

Upon completion, it will benefit local people and save time and money.—U Kyaw San
