Officials from the Township Department of Social Welfare provided cash aid to persons with disabilities in four wards in Mahlaing Township, Mandalay Region yesterday.
Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Soe Min Htet and members provided cash assistance to persons with disabilities from four wards in the town. Under this cash aid program, 146 disabled people from the town received Ks. 30000 each amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
The township Department of Social Welfare provided a total of Ks. 65.07 million to 2169 persons with disabilities in Mahlaing Township in 2020-2021 FY.—Aung Htay (Mahlaing)
