Oxygen cylinders provided nationwide

TATMADAW and well-wishers currently work together to provide oxygen cylinders to the public hospitals, military hospitals, health departments and COVID-19 treatment centres in respective regions and states.

 

The Nay Pyi Taw Command donated 50 oxygen cylinders to the 1,000-bedded Nay Pyi Taw Public Hospital in Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council while 99 oxygen cylinders (40 litres) by the South-West Command to the public hospitals and welfare organizations in Pathein, Thaboung, Maubin and Danubyu townships of Ayeyawady Region, another 90 cylinders (40 litres) by the North-West Command, Myanmar Police Force, Fire Brigade and volunteers to General Hospital in Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, 20 oxygen cylinders by the Central Command to Myingyan District Public Hospital of Mandalay Region and 65 oxygen cylinders by the Southern Command and Parahita organizations to the public hospitals in Monyo and Nattalin townships of Bago Region yesterday. Moreover, the Ministry of Health and Sports and Tatmadaw establish new oxygen plants to meet the country’s oxygen needs. — MNA
