The number of eligible voters for the upcoming general election slated for November 8 has increased by more than 4,500 in Mindat Township, Chin State, according to the township election sub-commission.
“There were 25,858 eligible voters for the 2015 multi-party general elections in Mindat Township. The total number of eligible voters on the day of the 2020 general election is 30,621.The number of voters is likely to increase,” said U Myo Myint Aung, Secretary of the township election sub-commission.
The 2015 multi-party democratic general election was held in Mindat Township with 112 polling stations. There will be 116 polling booths in Mindat Township for the upcoming general election.
