Terrorists attack police outposts using grenades, homemade bombs, small arms

SECURITY forces conduct proper security measures in respective townships as the terrorist groups CRPH and NUG organized PDFs intending to kill innocent civilians, launch bomb and arson attacks on state-owned buildings and public areas and commit robberies across the nation.

 

At about 8 pm on 6 December, terrorists riding three motorcycles attacked the police station with homemade bombs and small firearms while the police were serving duties in Warbalaukthauk Village of Kawhmu Township in Yangon Region, and they ran away, to Dala.

 

Then, members of security forces found one unlicenced motorcycle, an empty bullet shell and a male dead body with gunshot wounds, who was identified as a stranger in the village.

 

Similarly, at about 3:30 am yesterday, terrorists attacked Kan Kaung police outpost beside the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in Meiktila Township of Mandalay Region using grenades and homemade bombs. After the counter-attack, they retreated. It was reported that some of the police members died and some were injured.

 

Security forces accelerate security measures in collaborating with the people to arrest these suspects and to ensure the stability of the State. – MNA
