Three medical workers are among the 351 coronavirus patients in Magway Region, according to an official from the Department of Public Health.
According to RDT Test Kits, the number of COVID-19 confirmed patients in Magway Region is increasing almost daily, with a record 60 positive cases in a single day.
“The number of coronavirus patients has been on the rise in Magway Region. Three medical workers were found to have been infected with the virus,” said Dr Thaung Hlaing, Deputy Director-General from the DPH.
According to NHL results on October 20, 60 people from Magway, Myothit, Yenangyoung, Salin, Pakkoku, and Minhla in Magway Region tested positive for coronavirus.
48 out of 60 positive patients are currently put under observation at facility quarantine centers and some of them had close contact with the positive patients, Dr Thaung Hlaing added.
201 out of 351 coronavirus positive patients have been discharged from the hospitals and no virus-related death was reported in Magway Region, according to data from the DPH.
