An event to provide cash assistance to the families who have very limited and irregular income was held at the meeting room of the township General Administration Department in Mongmit Township, Northern Shan State on 25 January.
The provision of cash aid is the fifth of its kind in Mongmit Township. The government has been providing cash aid provided by the government to the low-income families in the township amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Under this cash aid program, to 4049 non-regular basic households from wards and villages in Mongmit Township received K 20000 each.
