Fire breaks out in Thandwe Twsp.

Fire broke out at around 2:30 pm on 10 February in Chanpyin Village in Thandwe Township, Rakhin State. The fire is believed to have started from a drunken man.

Firefighters from the township Fire Services Department rushed to the scene to fight the fire in collaboration with locals using three fire engines, and the blaze was completely extinguished at about 2:40 pm.

The authorities pressed charged against a drunk, identified as U Win Lwin who set fire to his family home.
