Elderly people aged 60 years old and above across the nation began casting advance votes for the upcoming general election starting from 29 October. Now, the elderly people in Sadon Township, Kachin State voted at the respective ward and village-tract election sub-commission office.
Officials from ward and village-tract election sub-commissions have arranged to cast advance voting for the elderly people who are impossible to go to the polling stations. There are 115 advance voters in the township and arrangements were made for voting process in compliance with the COVID-19 preventative measures.
