Well-wishers have been quick to lend a hand by providing financial support for Covid-19 prevention and treatment measures in the town of Myaungmya, Ayeyarwady region.
On 8 April morning, Myaungmya township association (Yangon) donated K 2 million to the township Health Support Committee at the office of the township General Administration Department. “Shwesushin” engineering Co.Ltd donated K 0.5 million, the township Cooperatives family, K 0.5 million, the township Audit Department, K 50000 to the committee. The provisions were received by Ayeyarwady region Hluttaw MP Daw Khaing Zin Oo, township administrator U Kyaw Swe and members of the township health supportive committee.
Myaungmya township has so far raised K 47.4 million including surgical masks, heath gears to be used in the battle against Covid-19 pandemic. Well-wishers can also pay their donation directly into CB bank account no-0059600100053023.—Aung Min (Myaungmya)
