Water supply projects were being conducted in seven villages in Myeik Township, Myeik District, Taninthayi Region in 2019-2020 FY, according to Township Officer U Kyaw Win Naing of Township Department of Rural Development.

The Myeik Taw Win Pale Company is conducting construction of a water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and installation of water pipes in Mayancahung village with K 28.78 million, construction of a water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and installation of water pipe in Maweshaung illage with K 13.56 million, construction of a water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and installation of water pipe in Tattaung village with 23.76 million and construction of a water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and installation of water pipe in Yemyitgyi village with K 23.90 million. All the projects were started from the first week of January and the projects will be completed at the end of April.

The construction of water tankers and installation of water pipes in Kyaungtaung village, Daw village and Darthwe village were started from the first week of January and all the projects will also be finished at the end of April, according to Township Officer from the Township Department of Rural Development.
