Village electrification ceremony held in Kyaikmaraw Tsp

Kyaikmaraw, February 13

In commemoration of the 73rd Union Day, a ceremony to electrify Khanaung village was held at the said village in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state this morning.

First, the state Hluttaw MP Daw Khin Myo Myint said that it was a great honour to open the village electrification ceremony on the 73rd Union Day. With the collaborative efforts of the government and local residents, the village now has access to electricity and as a result, economic, social and education levels of the region will improve more, she said.

Then, the village electrification committee chairman reported on the works done regarding village electrification project. A total of 255 people including departmental personnel and villagers.—Cho Myat Myat Htwe
