Two women succumb to injuries from traffic accident in Pantanaw Twsp

Two women were killed and one other injured after a 12-wheel truck hit a motorbike in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region on 29 July, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
    

The fatal accident took place in front of a primary school between mileposts 47/4 and 47/5 on the Yangon-Pathein Road in Nyaungpinthar Village, Pantanaw Township in Ayeyawady Region at about 8:45 a.m. on 29 July. A 12-wheeled truck driven by a man named U San Win Tun crashed into a motorbike and a passer-by.
    

Firefighters from the township fire service station rescued two women who were trapped under the vehicle. The women succumbed to injuries from the traffic accident and the driver is being questioned over reckless driving by the local police.
