Falam, 12 January
Six homes including a bus ticket counter were reportedly burnt to ashes in Falam Township, Chin State.
The fire broke out in Falam Township at about 4:10 a.m. on January 12. The blaze was completely put out by firefighters with the use of four fire engines, and three water tankers an hour later, two house owners were burnt to death.
Deputy Commissioner U Saw Tun Win, Township Administrator U Kyar Owl and departmental staff were involved in extinguishing the flame.
